Our Story

Guoliang Lv is a glass artisan who spent years framing photographs and mirrors for a gallery in Shanghai. He noticed that customers spent thousands on artwork but bought cheap frames that detracted from the piece. The opposite problem: beautiful art, ugly presentation.

MKMK was created to be the "quiet frame" — simple, minimal, well-made frames that let the photo (or mirror, or memory) be the star. The wall mirrors are frameless, with polished edges that look seamless. The picture frames come in multiple sizes so you can create a gallery wall that feels intentional.

The name MKMK is the sound of a hammer gently tapping a frame into place — a quiet, satisfying sound. Every product is designed to disappear into the room, supporting the beauty around it.
